Blog

I’ll be cycling every day, with a rest day once a week. If IT infrastructure allows, I’ll be reading your comments and updating my blog and photo sections as often as possible.

I am very curious to read your comments while you are virtually following me on this adventure.

Note: This is a moderated blog. Please, do only post messages associated with my cycling tour. I’ll reserve the right to not publish anything unrelated. Thanks for your understanding.

  3. Hallo Joachim,

In wenigen Stunden geht’s los! Alles Gute! Bleib gesund!

  4. Thanks to all my friends and followers for the many wishes over the past days sent by mail, Facebook, blog comments, etc. I read and appreciate each and every one of it. Unfortunately I won’t be able to respond to all of you in person as time and chances get rarer once I am on the saddle and away from civilization. Stay in touch. – Joachim

  5. Hi Joe,

Take care and take it easy

  7. Count down is ticking … 10 days before I am leaving for Medan/Sumatra, the start location of the tour … and just 15 days before we ride into the first stage, a short 57 km to Berastagi. But believe me, Cristiano wouldn’t cut it that short, if he didn’t put a big obstacle in our way – the first volcano, a stormy river?!
